Awards Calling For Contact Centres
North East contact centres can stake their claim to be the best in the region by entering this year’s industry dedicated awards.
The North East Contact Centre Awards are back following the launch of the 2008 search to find the region’s top performer at Newcastle’s Centre for Life on Thursday June 12.
The popular awards are organised by Tyne and Wear Development Company in conjunction with Sunderland City Council and celebrate the stars of one of the region’s most successful industries.
Entrants can follow in the footsteps of last year’s victors GE Money and Parkdean Holidays by entering online now at www.contactcentreawards.co.uk. The winners will be announced at a star-studded event on Friday November 7 at Rainton Meadows Arena.
In addition to the top award – North East Contact Centre of the Year – a raft of team and individual awards are up for grabs. These include awards for contact centres below 50 and 200 seats; the Customer Service Champion of Champions and the Contact Centre Dream Team.
Paul Buie, manager of Tyne and Wear Development Company said: “This is an important and successful industry for the region. Our contact centres are respected worldwide and we should be proud of them. The awards are an opportunity to acknowledge this and the efforts of the employees which run them.”
Councillor Paul Watson, leader of Sunderland City Council, which is sponsoring the main award, said: “I’m delighted to launch a competition which is hugely competitive and always generates such a positive response. Contact centres in Sunderland and the rest of the North East deserve the excellent reputation that they’ve established for quality and professionalism. This is a chance to demonstrate it.”
The awards, which this year take place for the sixth time, are sponsored by Tyne and Wear Development Company, Sunderland City Council, One NorthEast, North East Contact Centre Academy, Contact Centre Professional, CyberTech UK and RXPerience.
