Our Role
Tyne and Wear Development Company offers a dedicated service to help investors from the beginning to the end of their project.
Our aim is to support existing local companies with their growth-plans and attract new businesses to the area. Alongside regional partners, we work hard to attract investment and to support the long-term success of investors with ongoing advice and practical assistance.
Tesco Bank and the Government’s new Marine Management Organisation are just two of the flagship projects – creating thousands of jobs – that have been supported by Tyne and Development Company. In each case we fronted a regional team that helped to attract the investment before acting as the primary advisor in the relocation process.
