The challenges faced by contact centres in the region was the theme for the third North East Contact Centre Conference at St James’ Park, Newcastle. Key decision makers from the region’s contact centres gathered to consider the issues and opportunities affecting the industry including customer retention in an economic downturn, change management and customer satisfaction. High profile speakers including Larry Hochman, former director of British Airways, addressed the conference with well known TV personality Kim Inglis compere for the day.
